Repair consultation

The first step in the process would be to book a Repair Consultation. At the consultation we will discuss any hair issues or concerns you may have, answer any questions you may have about locs, and go over the care of your locs. It is imporant to first book your repair to see which repair option is best for you and when would be the best time to attempt the repair. At the conclusion of your consultation we will schedule your Repair appointment.

2

types of repairs

There are a few situations that fall under a repair appointment. They are: repair thinning, reattach saved locs, resizing locs (take out current locs and redo parting or sizing), loc take down (picking out locs), and handmade loc reattachment (Bee will make up to 10 locs to fill in missing locs). There are also Individual, Half Head, and Full Head repair options. Bee will help you select the best option for you.

requirements for repairs

In order for Bee to successfully repair your hair a few things might need to happen first. If you need locs reattached you will need at least 3 inches of hair; if you have thinning near the scalp you will need to have a minimum of 2 inches of hair re-grown at the scalp. Loc Takedowns are for palm roll customers only. Hand made loc replacements require a minimum of 2 days to prepare with a $75 non-refundable deposit for hair. All repairs require a 50% the day of booking. The difference will be due at the conclusion of your appointment.

after care

An oil and wash routine is ideal for strong healthy locs. We also suggest that you use a durag for your starter phase and a bonnet for budded locs.

The suggested maintenance schedule is once a month to maintain manicured locs, once every 1.5 months for semi-free forming locs, and once every 2 months for free forming locs. If you go more than three (3) months without communicating that you are doing self care we request that a New Client Consultation is booked in order to follow up.
